I've taken that for a few years now and haven't had any problems with it. I was diagnosed with ITP last April, and had already been on it for over a year. I don't have any advice other than talk to your gyno.

Recently been diagnosed with itp, apparently had it a long time but doctors never picked up on it.platelet count is always around 90,the highest it has ever been is 170.I never used to spot between periods but find it happens all the time now.I find that it is a sign of a drop in platelet count.does anyone else find that too?

I'm on birth control too to manage bleeding. I would talk to your doctor, maybe its that particular brand. It took me forever to find the right one. I haven't had any problems with my birth control patch.
