Is shakeology safe to drink if you have ITP?

Apparently it has a very long ingredient list which includes fillers. I'd research each one to see if there are any adverse effects reported.

I love their tagline "a shake, just the way nature intended". LOL.. with that list of ingredients.. funny ol' nature.

I like the strawberry with added banana, but after I drank my first whole glass I became nauseated with a headache later in the day. It does have a lot of B vitamins which have always made me nauseated in the past.

I'm quite sceptical as anyone should be but I wouldn't mind trying this out before going for my spleenectomy

Went to one of their sites and noted many photo's that had been photo shopped. Also when I click on their tuesday reveal I noted one man who went from overweight to fit. Also went from having a hairy chest and legs to no hair. The video made me question if he was paid or something she didn't tell us?

First off her condition of colitis usually tends to make people loose weight.

"she looks very happy after drinking that Shakeology!"

I think that most actors tend to 'look very happy' when they receive a paycheck.

Why do I keep seeing/hearing Harry Wayne Casey in the background singing,
"Shake Shake shake ..... shake shake shake ....... shake-o-logy .... shake-o-logy ....."

Note: For those who have no idea who Harry Wayne Casey is....'K.C. & The Sunshine Band'.

This video didn't make me think:
Oh boy if I pay lots of money and buy this shake stuff I'm going to get rid of my ITP that I've had for 25 years!!! I have to order this stuff right now! And I'm going to ask my hematologist why in the heck he never told me about this!

No, it made me think that video was advertising weight loss not a cure for ITP.

One of the sites it sends you to is BeachBody - which sells Shakeology and says:

"Beachbody® best sellers

SHAKEOLOGY®

Looking to accelerate your weightloss? Increase your energy for workouts? Curb your cravings for junk? And improve your digestion and regularity? Then look no further than Shakeology."

She even managed to work up some tears about being on medication for life. Half the people I know are on medication for life, including young people. I wish a shake were all it took! I probably spend more on my meds than I would buying that stuff.
