Homeopathy doctor Miami? was created by bell1138
I'm looking for a good homeopathy doctor in Miami for my daughter which has itp. Does anyone know of a good homeopathic doctor that treats children with itp. Has anyone had any positive results using homeopathic medicine?

Hi, Here is one homeopath that I came across, that at least sounds fairly good from her bio. I don't know of her otherwise, though.
www.miamibeachpediatrics.com/our-team/keren-levy-classical-homeopath

She is in a pediatric practice that also has other healing modalities, such as cranial sacral and nutrition and the pediatrician seems to lean more towards the natural. Might be worth checking out.

As to finding a homeopath who has experience with ITP, I wouldn't count on finding too many of those, but wouldn't discard working with one who had never treated it. (ITP is rather rare--even many GPs and ER doctors have no clue about it!) The reason it doesn't matter that much is because a homeopath will not be treating her ITP so much as she'll be treating your daughter as a whole person and trying to understand her 'state'. It's all about individualizing the remedy for each person--not a common, one-size-fits-all approach. What makes your daughter different from everyone else is more important than knowing the common symptoms of ITP. YOU are the best one to know that, and must coney it to the homeopath. With computers, anyone can become at least well-educated on any disease, in a short time.I'd wager that many of the old-timers on this site have more knowledge and understanding of ITP than many hematologists, and most GPs.

I am a homeopath and treated my daughter successfully with homeopathy only. Her counts went from 4k to 411k in less than 4 days, and she improved dramatically with other physical and behavioral problems within 12 hours of giving the remedy. Not everyone responds so quickly (particularly if much Prednisone or other immunosuppressants have been given, but many do. If you go through prior posts on here (do a search on Patti's posts--she no longer is on here, but gives a lot of info). There are many people who have recovered from ITP with using homeopathy.

You could also contact Mirando Castro, a very experienced homeopath. She's elsewhere in Florida, but may be able to refer you to someone else closer.

Good luck in your search!
April

I know a ayurvedic syrup that can boost platelets count. My aunt's average platelets count was less than 5 while she is taking platelet transfusion. Count raise to 30 to 40 but it drop very quickly, I mean within 2 days back to 5. Now she is taking ayurvedic syrup since last October. She don't need platelet transfusion anymore. She is taking 40ml every 6 hours, 4 times a day. With this dose her average platelet count around 40. Sometimes 70+.
