Enzyme treatment for ITP - Vascuzyme

Enzyme treatment for ITP - Vascuzyme was created by cyclone87
Hey everyone,

So this is my third time posting, but my first since officially moving into remission! I'm super excited about the results I had from an atypical treatment method, so I wanted to share them in case anyone else could benefit.

My mom is a doctor certified in Anti-Aging medicine, so she knows quite a bit about biochemical supplements, hormones and what have you. When nothing seemed to be working well for me (steroids, IVIG, Rituxan, splenectomy, more steroids, and Nplate) she started me on some enzyme tablets that she uses to reduce thyroid antibodies in some of her patients. Lo and behold, 2 months later my platelet count is 352k with no current "official" treatment. =]

In case anyone's interested, here's the enzyme mix I was taking, called Vascuzyme: www.drhoffman.com/page.cfm/377

I personally took 3 tablets 3x per day on an empty stomach. I was using Vascuzyme at the same time as very low dose Nplate (2mcg), but my platelets have been high enough the last 2 weeks that I was able to discontinue the Nplate.

I'd be happy to field any questions (or better yet, pass them along to my mom, who knows much more about it)!

Hi Sarah,
I am happy when you use VASCUZYME and your plalets go up to 370K. That is wonderful result. Can you share a little bit more details about your experience. You take 3 pills each time and three time per day, is it right? Any side affects? When your plalets was very low and it went up with that range, how did you feel in your body?
Thank you.

Hi Sarah,
If you try to reduce the dose of VASCUZYME, and let see the platelet count going down or not. If the platelet count is stable, it is good sign. If not, do you think you need to take this supplemental herb for a long time? Does it affect to bone marrow (like Promatac or N-plate)? Maybe you just tried it and don't know the later consequence yet.
Thank you.

Best not to reduce the dose of vascuzyme. It's good to see if the count becomes stable first or if the high count is only due to the Nplate.
