I am 73years old and been taking MMF for 16months at a dose of one gram twice a day and my platelet count is mostly about 85k to 100k. Now I have shingles on my abdomen ( right side ) . Has anybody else suffered this from taking a similar immunosupressant and I was told about the possible side effects of this drug and my age is not in my favour as far as immune systems go ? Perhaps I should give up on MMF ,but it is working well. Derek
