Well, my 22 year old son has had platelet counts from 14,000 to 18,000 for the past 6 weeks after the Rituxan treatment. The counts have been anywhere in that range, last week 14,000 and this week 17,000. So the doctor said to come back in 2 weeks, yeah! 2 weeks, not every week! He said WinRhoe would have been the next form of treatment, but he feels that maybe this is going to be the normal for my son now and maybe will stay this way.

We are just glad that even though it is low, it may be his normal it seems. So, for the time being, he is on nothing, but holding his platelets in the teens. So, I guess we are pleased with this new steady platelet count
