i forgot to mention the doctor gave us the option of cyclosporine, what r your thoughts on this, rather than cytoxan, which has hair loss

I used Cyclosporine for awhile to treat ITP. It worked okay and kept me around the 30k range.
Then one day it just stopped doing anything at all, count dropped to 4k, and I switched to Promacta.
I didn't like Cyclosporine. I got ill fairly often with it.
I see your screen name is 'musicguy60'. If you are playing music live in clubs, I'd stay away from immune suppressants (if possible). I played guitar & sang in sleazy bars on weekends during the time I took Cyclosporine. It was not a good combination for me. I caught a lot of colds, got sinus infections, general crud, etc during that couple of years.

no not a dj or anthing like that, dont go 2 clubs, just like music a lot plus my age, thanks any way
