Just adding my 2 cents. My Hemotologist had me do a 3 week post 2nd shot cbc just to check that my plts were not effected that bad. Over the last year my high has been 80, low 53, but usually in the 7x range, with no symptoms or treatment. A mild ITP, as my MD said. Anyway today's plts were 67, about 3.5 weeks after shot number 2. A month ago they were 79. So a 12 pt drop I think is within a very normal fluctuation range, so it may have taken a slight temporary hit because of the trace immune response or it could just be an expected deviance. No real adverse reaction to the vaccine so I'm still happy I got it. Haven't heard back from MD yet, so if she says anything different, i will update. I hope everyone is staying well!
