Ask your Doc about Nplate. It is a weekly injection. Expensive, but my counts have ranged from 64 to over 100. Today was 92.
Good Luck,
Mordii

Hi Rainlyn! If there were home remedies or foods that could raise platelets, no one would need the nasty treatments. If you are interested in trying that route instead of traditional methods, read and post in the Natural Treatments Section.

My husband has taken to eating almost a whole bunch of celery each night, he doesn't have platelet problems - maybe by now his blood is one big thick clot? Unless celery knows what your platelets are supposed to be and stops then. I should add, he's lost 60lb since August and eating a lot of celery is helping a lot with that at least.

Anything that improves our health and our joy of life must help - for some people this might just be getting on with their lives and good luck to them :)
Others of us feel that some diet, lifestyle changes, natural therapies etc. may hold a key. Some people get great results from prednisone, a medication that mimics cortisone,an adrenal hormone that regulates stress and inflammation (that's my understanding anyway, please feel free to correct me if I am wrong). Surely there are other ways we can manage stress (particularly chronic physical stress) and inflammation.
Are your platelets stable. I think this is a factor as to what sort of changes you would try.
Ensuring good GIT health and optimal nutrient absorption is something that should help everyone.
Oops, nearly forgot the most important thing: get informed. This site is full or info from personal accounts.
Good luck.
