Hey,

This has been going on a few days, ive kind of put it down to nerves but just want to make sure. I have had pains in the top part of my back and around my pelvice area. I find that if i stand for a long time my legs get a little weak and shake a bit. I took a dizzy spell today and got the shaky legs at same time and nearly fell down a flight of concrete steps. (its kind of similar to the feeling I got when I use to run except a bit worse)

I also find that I have a bit of a tremble in my hands when I am not doing anything. When I am gripping anything or lifting anything the shake gets worse. Could this be muscles maybe. I am seeing my heama in 4 days, i will be okay waiting to then wont I?

I think you should get this checked out, soon. A few details that seem concerning - has gone on for a few days, pain in two separate areas, almost fell down stairs. Simple explanations like low blood sugar don't seem to explain all those things. Why assume it is a hemo issue? I've not heard anything like that associated with ITP. Could be lots of stuff (or, hopefully, not much). I'd get in to see a generalist type doctor asap.

Are you on Prednisone? Most of those could be explained with that, but it would be best to discuss it with a doctor. (I think you said you were).

I'm always shaky like that, but I also have problems keeping Vitamin and electrolyte levels normal.

yea I am on pred, I have been putting it down to that cause this started a while ago, it jst seems to be getting a bit worse.

Might get in touch with gp see what they say. I have got to get over my fear of docs.

I shook like that s I tapered. I felt like I had jello-legs. It's probably that, but ask your doctor.

I also shook on pred. Didn't matter if I was tapering or not. Awful stuff! I remember going out to lunch with my mom one day when the shakes were particularly bad and hiding my hands under the table so I didn't scare her. Let us know what the doc says though.
