Just curious how your pregnancies/babies are being followed. I met my new *high-risk* OB yesterday and she was very nice. I liked her. She said my platelets were the lowest she had seen (when they were 3000). She has been in contact with my former OB and my hematologist. She has ordered LFTs in addition to my weekly blood tests to rule out HELLP syndrome and beginning in a few weeks she wants me to have weekly ultrasounds and non stress tests. This girl is gonna have a LOT of appointments in the next few weeks...:S
She says unless "indicated" she will plan to deliver my little guy on May 23rd at 39 weeks. I had hoped to deliver sooner but I'm not the boss.
Diagnosed with ITP 2/7/11
Treating regularly with IVIg
Currently in the low 100's

Aw they are just being extra cautious. I have been getting ultrasounds at every appt since the begining. Its cool you get to see the baby more. We might have our boys at the same time!

I thought you were close do delivery soon...I still have 9 weeks momma! Seems like a lifetime. My current # is 64...ugh

Yes I am being induced either this weekend or next. No later then next if they cant induce I will go in for a c section. Im getting IVIG today and hoping to be over 100. These past few weeks have been horrible to say the least. Not that it has much to do with my counts...just normal pregnancy stuff...swelling, back pain, not being able to sleep. Sheesh Im giving you so much to look foward to. LOL its all worth it in the end.

lol I hate pregnancy...this is my second...just confirms for me that I am done for good now! Lol :laugh:
