Complementary 'medicine' - diet etc. was created by Clareykc
Is the PDSA “Survey of Non-Traditional Treatments of ITP” still available? I have seen it mentioned but the link doesn't work. I don't want any alternative treatment, but am interested in complementary stuff - may as well?!!
Havin been reading all night (doh!) I'm thinking of cutting out raisins and grapes (he eats masses!), too much sugar and too much dairy, all of which are very present in our current diets, and increasing our greens.
May take a look at the gluten situation too if things don't improve in a month or so.
Am I barking up the wrong trees - does anyone have any other suggestions?
Many thanks, C

There is no harm in trying a diet change. I'm doing the same thing myself. I'm eating all organic vegetables, no sugar, no dairy, no gluten, and only grass fed meat. It's only been a few weeks, so I haven't seen benefits yet other than my reflux has been much better.
