Body pain for child and light sensitivity with ITP

My 3 year old has low count of under 20,000 at present. She was diagnosed earlier this year but I suspect shes's had it at least a year. Her doctor doesn't want to treat her because of her age. I've noticed that when she has a lot of bruising and Petechiae, she also complains of a lot of pain on her body to the extent that a bracelet or just stroking her head hurts. Is this usual? Also, she says light hurts her eyes. She gets headaches and is very lethagic when she displays most visible symptoms on her body. Are these things that other experience? I'm trying to find how else I can help her. What vitamins, natural treatments etc do you recommend? I'm suspecting she got ITP from MMR vaccine at 16 months but it took a while for her platelets to drop to a level that she was tested.

It's really tough for us as we are packing up our house so we can be nearer to a hospital (we live in New Zealand). I also have 22 month old twins. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance.

ITP should not cause those symptoms. Have you mentioned it to her doctor?

Some people feel tired when counts are low and maybe a tad achy, but it seems like your daughter's symptoms are a bit more extreme.

Thanks, that's what I've been wondering too. We are trying to get her to drink more in case the body pain is due to dehydration. We have told doctor's but I'm feeling frustrated because I'm not sure if it's the right diagnosis or what else we can do to help her. We are trying to alter her diet and am looking at getting the Bloodwell vitamins. Thanks for your reply.
