Whoop Whoop - 155! was created by Jacchab
Wohoo!! I've just gotten of the phone from the Doc - Stephs counts are 'normal!!' - 155. I am SO happy right about now - nearly ready to do a happy dance  . And not just her platelets either, her FBE was nearly faultless!!!

Our road to get here hasn't been nearly as long as most of those on this forum (only 6 months), but nevertheless, I am rejoicing.
We can continue with our taper of pred, her 'moonface' can slowly go down, and she can get back into all of her contact sports - all those that a 10 1/2 yr old girl plays anyway. She is going to be elated when she gets home from school!

I know we still have to keep our eye on everything. I know how quickly things can change. My little girl has been through so much (with another PID) so I reckon when you get good news, you must ENJOY every second of it. Who knows when you might get more.

Happy smiles to everyone on this fantastic Friday!!!

Thanks,
Jackie
