What is considered a low or high dose of prednisolone, and also what is considered 'long term' Still new at this, and I'm trying to arm myself with info.

Is this for a child or an adult?

"High dose" means different things to different people. I consider anything over 40 mg's to be high dose. Someone else may think higher or lower.

"Long term" is a few months.

Thanks Sandi. This is for my 10 yr old daughter (approx 30 kg)
Diagnosed in Feb of this year. Start dose of 60mg then tappered. Currently on alternate dose of 10mg and 7.5mg.

I would say 60 mg's is high for a 10 year old. Poor kid!
