I was just wondering since my daughter was diagnosed in February if this ends up being an acute illness, will she still have to worry about this coming back?

Rsobba:

It is rare for acute ITP to recur, but it does happen. It may not happen for years, but the possibility is always there. However, it shouldn't be something that you need to worry about, just be aware of it.
