I've been considering it, but I am no so good putting into words how I feel either physically or emotionally. Do any of you do any journaling? Either on paper or online? If so, would you consider sharing?

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

I started doing it years ago and learnt by trial and error. I was so concious of spelling etc. Then I realised this for me and no one else so just started writing my feelings on whatever came up in the day, or week or whenever. Remember who cares about the spelling or grammatical errors. I am sure you will get some more paratical advice from other posters but that is my way. It can be very satisfying. Good Luck. C :) :) :)

I have been journaling few a weeks. My Psychologist starting having me do it as an assignment with my therapy. I have found it to be very helpful. She said that journaling often helps people get out their true emtions. I'm not sure about anyone else, but I'm one of those people who lets worry and anxiety bottle up to the point where I'm frozen because I'm so confused and frustrated. Journaling has helped me get those fears out and then I feel better.

As Christine said, a journal is something just for you. You shouldn't worry about grammar or be self-conscious about the content. If you find help in journaling, then do it!

I'm not sure how new you are to ITP, but it is an overwhelming diagnosis to take in (in my opinion). I was just diagnosed in March 2010. Any arena you can find that helps you, I say go for it!
