Just reading news - to all those affected by the massive snow storm in the North East of the US, we are thinking of you & hope the consequences are not too horrendous for you.
I cannot imagine what it must be like in those conditions, not having even seen snow. May you & yours stay safe & cope with what must be very trying circumstances.
Warm hugs (& I mean warm as it's been around 100F for weeks!) from Down Under,
mj

Never saw snow? I can't imagine. We are supposed to get between 1 and 12 inches. Good forecasters we have here. It started about an hour ago. We're all set for the weekend so don't have to go anywhere. I do have two kids that have to get to work and back.

View from my front porch.

I wouldn't mind not seeing snow! Sandi your driveway is really slanted - ever have trouble with a car sliding? Our son's driveway isn't as slanted and his car [in park & emergency brake on] slid out into the street!

Hot chocolate & marshmallows - hope you have some!

Yes, it sure is slanted. I used to have trouble getting out of the driveway before I had four wheel drive vehicles. Since I started buying SUV's, I have never had a problem sliding or getting out of the driveway.

If it slid down, it would go down a steep hill in the backyard, through a fence and into the neighbors pool. Let's hope that never happens!

I've been thinking about those affected by this storm too! We were supposed to get it as well, but the track has changed and only Nova Scotia is supposed to get anything. Stay warm and safe, everyone!

Somewhere between 26- 28 inches in Central NJ. A lot of shoveling, the snow stopped late Saturday and early and it is still a mess in a lot of places. Snow piles are so high its hard to see around them and streets narrowed by snow mounds!
