Tshirt that says 'Got Platelets?' - trade? was created by eklein
Hi ITP team!
Today at the thrift store I found a tshirt that says 'Got Platelets?' on the front and Memorial Blood Centers on the back. It is navy blue, size XL (extra large) and in excellent condition. Does somebody want to trade me something interesting for it? Hint: a hot sauce local to you would be of particular interest!

Hi Erica,
I have a white one that I keep for wearing as a night shirt in hospital - cheers me up when I see everyone's reaction!

I thought people would be clamoring for the shirt oh well. I already have one, but it's a rare find at the thrift store.

Melinda, what is your local hot sauce? Not Melinda's I know :) but that's a decent brand.

My favorite one from years ago was called Pain Is Good, it had a curry flavor and was very hot.

I didn't even know they had such a shirt wow I have alot to learn. I have a favorite blanket that my mom brought me when I was in the hospital and I have took it to every treatment. I am so excited that Thursday (tomorrow morning) is my last Rituximab treatment. I was freaked out in the beginning but now four weeks has pass. Time to get on with my life.

Some people here call Rituxan days "Spa day". It's a day to lay around, nap and do nothing. Pretending it's a spa day helps to lighten the mood.

I didn't think of that when I had Rituxan, but I did look forward to a day off from my stressful job. I took a book and slept. It was a break from routine and didn't bother me a bit. Some of us here are just weird, but you do what you have to do to get through things.
