So for my birthday I asked for something I saw on an info-mercial - a Chillow. It is a pillow topper thing that stays cool. OMG I love this thing. Especially if you are a female over 50 I think you will love it. They have them on Amazon. I have no financial interest in this product, but it is making me very happy.

Thanks Erica, I think I will try that. I've tried various things but nothing helps much. I'm finding it much worse in these humid months.

Are you saying it won't help me cause I'm not over 50? lol Sounds like it might help with my hot flashes heating my pillow I have to turn it sometimes hourly!

I thought I replied with a question not Thank You.

But I do thank you - had never hear of a Chillow before. Is it soft or is it on the hard side?

It is something you would set on top of your regular pillow. It is thin and like foam sort of. It does not seem like it would be comfortable and work, but it is and it does.

Saw them at Walgreens today. You have to add water to it, if I read it right - does that make it feel funny?

You would think it would feel funny but it feels fine. I got my mom one and she likes it a lot too. I put it in a pillow case and set it on top of my regular pillow. I've been putting it in the fridge for a half hour before bedtime. Aaaahhhh.

We are having a heat wave in Minnesota, it's pretty bad, and my husband said 'you know you can use the Chillow during other times and not only bedtime right?' Hah.

OMG! A HOT FLASH ELIMINATOR!!! roflmao! I have few other ideas for it!

You can now safely take sandwiches to bed!
You will not have to get up to put your chip dip away!
You can chill you beer for breakfast and not have to even get up to enjoy breakfast in bed!
You can put a fan behind it and cool the room.
Your cats will stay off of your pillows.
All night sunburn relief.

I am sure I have missed many other things feel free to run with this! Just a guys point of view!
