Went to see KISS last night with my sister at Harbor Station! For old geezers, they did pretty good. The light show was fantastic and all they pyrotechnics was well done. The band that opened for them was way too loud and couldn't understand a word they were saying. Their light show was great too. I don't think my poor ears will ever be the same!

Kiss! Oh my goodness, that's a blast from the past!

I saw Moody Blues last year and they did great too...one of them just hit 70. I have tickets to see Justin Hayward later this month. His voice gives me chills!

Glad you had a good time!

Sandi, I had so much fun, it wasn't funny! Actually, watching my sister every time Paul Stanley pronounced Saint John, she made fun of him, it sounded so gay! I took some pictures with my cell phone, but doubt any of them turned out well. We had pretty good seats; just not good enough for pictures.

I kinda remember Moody Blues, but don't know who Justin Hayward is.

I'd like to see Rush and Triumph, but wouldn't pay a lot for it. Heart is still No. 1 on my list. They were just here in Pittsburgh while I was in NC. Missed it!

How could you fall asleep during Rush?

Yep, that must be it. Everyone who likes Nights in White Satin gets ITP.

Sandi I had been working nights my son was in hospital so I would leave work go see him. Counts low so tired my one and only day off. Went to see my son went to my favorite store bought an amazing cd got totally relaxed driving. Than went to the art gallery and spent 2 hours just getting even more relaxed.

Concert started was leaning on an elbow music was great closed my eyes to let it just take over and next thing I knew BOOM! I was awake!

Wait a minute.....I've always considered 'Forever Afternoon' (Tuesday Afternoon) to be the best song on the 'Days Of Future Passed' album. Although, I do think the monologue at the end of 'Nights In White Satin' is amazing.

I last saw them a few years ago, when a lot of the 60s/70s groups were doing 1/2-arena size shows.
Even with lowering the song keys, they still sounded great.
But hey, none of us sing in the same keys we did back then. I've lost at least an octave of range since 1980. :)

My favorite MB album? 'A Question Of Balance'.
My favorite MB tunes? 'The Story in Your Eyes' .. 'Question' .. 'Dawning is The Day' .. 'I'm Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band)' .. 'Lovely to See You' ..they had so many good songs.....

NOTE: I have also fallen asleep at a concert before. I fell asleep during Neil Young about 7 years ago. I was tired!
I had seem him a few months before then with Crosby, Stills, & Nash and he was great.
But by himself when I was tired, not great enough to keep me awake...even in the 4th row. ;)
I love his songs though. I have had to sing 'Cinnamon Girl' in every band I've played with since the 1970s....my wife thinks the song is about her.

I saw CYS&N a few years ago too. I considered it a once in a lifetime thing and beyond my wildest dreams (excuse the MB pun)! A bit too political in my opinion, but they didn't push it too much.

My husband loves Tuesday Afternoon too, but when Justin belts out "And I love you....oh how I love you!!!!!" it gives me chills. That song is haunting.
