Thanks, Cindy. I had a great time at the concert! Moody Blues were fantastic...exceeded my expectations. I didn't expect that much of men in their 60's and 70's.

Yup, surgery on Monday. I'm trying not to think about it.

Glad the Moody Blues stood up to scrutiny. Good luck for Monday. It's a Bank Holiday here so seems a strange day to have planned surgery but it's obviously not a day off for you guys.

No, we had Friday off for the Good Friday Easter holiday. We still have surgeries on bank holidays though.

What bank holiday is it for you?

I hope that surgery goes well Sandi, and that it is umcomplicated and nothing magor xoxox Will pray that all goes well.

Here in New Zealand we have Good Friday and Easter Monday as public holidays, I had always assumed that the rest of the world must have them off also, but it sounds like I was wrong ;) :)

Our Government offices will be closed tomorrow and there won't be any mail delivery, but all the stores will be open. I do believe the stores are closed today as it is Easter.

We are the same as New Zealand with Good Friday and Easter Monday as Bank Holidays. Most of the shops will still be open though. I work at an outpatient unit and we are shut.

I'm doing okay. I have a lot of restrictions...no driving, no lifting over 5 pounds, no bending over. I have to wear the collar all the time for the next 3 weeks. I have to sleep in it and I have a special one to shower in. It's hard to wash my hair and face because the darn thing covers the back of my head and my chin. But I woke up this morning so relaxed, no pressure, I can't remember the last time I felt like that. Years maybe?

I'm so glad you woke up this morning relaxed - that is great!

If the collar covers your chin then no problem if it's dirty ;)
However the hair would get to me - and it's not a case of just saying well I'll go in and have my hair done because that can't happen. This too shall pass - before you know it the 3 weeks will be over and you can have a "burn the collar" party.

PS - have you thought of shaving your head :)

Eh - I'm getting it clean, it just doesn't look so great. I'm not going anywhere anyway. My Mom keeps saying "I told you you should have got your hair cut short". No! It's only a few weeks.
