Happy Easter

Our daughter, husband & grandson are visiting for the weekend. Not good weather for fishing, so we visited a market & a garden centre & bought seedlings & Australian native plants for our newly created veggie planter boxes & surrounding garden. Very enthusiastic daughter & husband decided we should plant out the lot this afternoon! I have just had a nice warm (not too hot) bath to recover! Just need to bury the recycle water soaker hoses & mulch with bark chips. Told daughter she'll have to pick veggies while we are overseas in July!
Tomorrow morning we have 7 am Church with breakfast, then a campfire lunch with our son & his family on the farm.

Happy Easter from California! My son is older now in college but will still like some Easter candy I think.
MJ that sounds like a great way to celebrate Easter! I also love native and drought tolerant plants. Lavender and all varieties of sage/salvia are popular, and a wild poppy that is beautiful and needs no water. Also the native giant Redwood trees are all around were I live. These are just babies though only 50' tall. Its a beautiful time of year-- enjoy!

I had a great day today starting my new personal project. Last year I 'did' the Thames bridges and this year and probably for the rest of my life, I'm 'doing' the tube. Today I walked 5 miles but got lost and caught a bus home, so the last bit will need to be done again. www.ann-voysey.net/ I call it purposeful exercise.

Apart from that I shall eat too many hot cross buns and too much chocolate.

How very cool Ann, what an amazing way to plan and document your walks, you are very clever. I have always longed to go to England as my Dad is from London, he was born within the sound of Bow Bells. I will enjoy looking at the pictures of your travels, it will be almost as good as being there!
