Hi Milly,
I have just managed to check the forum at 10.40 pm - looking after 2 grandies today.
We had a nice day weather wise, an Australia Day celebration at the local hall with 250 people, where several people were awarded for their contribution to the local community, & a fairly quiet afternoon. Flying a flag, & acknowledging what a wonderful country we are privileged to live in.

Our Australia Day was very wet, we have had soooo much rain, really over the rain. There where going to have Australia Day in the park in town but it was cancelled due to the rain and moved to the town hall, a little crowded so I didn't go but I did have a lovely day with the grandies, back to work today.

We do live in a wonderful country.

How is the new house going?

Hi Milly,
We are trying to settle in - very hard. I am not used to having close neighbours (rowdy ones), street lights & traffic. I am still tending the farm garden & house until renovations are done & our son & his family move in. Watering is constant & the place is filthy - rather upsetting. However, we have a lovely home now, overlooking the sea, & the family loves visiting & sharing it with us.
