I thought I'd pop in and let you know that I'm doing pretty good. After years of trying various things and living with very low counts blah blah... I had my splenectomy May 2010 and so far so good. My counts are staying at or around 100k. After a few months I started feeling less concerned about my counts. I recognise now how consuming the worrying about low counts was.

I still have my FM and other stuff happening but it's a relief to have some of the stress off my back.

Finally going on a mini vacation soon, I haven't travelled since this ITP started

Glad to see you back and everything going well. What is it like to have counts of 100? LOL
I still go to the Spa at PLC every few weeks. This keeps my counts up for a short time and then back to visit!!! I keep telling them I am OK but my blood tests say otherwise. A heavy snowfall is expected for tonight so shut yourself in with a good book. Christine
