One frustration about the logging on process

When I log on, I usually log off when I am finished. I check the board from my phone and from my computer. One frustration that I have, is that it sometimes never "logs me off" and so when I want to respond to someone's post, I am unable to because I am still logged on? I usually have to push the log off button several times and sometimes it STILL doesn't log me off. If I was only on my phone or only on my computer, I would keep myself logged on all the time so that I could respond whenever I wanted. Does anyone else seem to notice this problem? I have also had to change my password because it wouldn't allow me to log on so I had to request a new password. (No biggie, but it made me feel like I was forgetting my password and I knew I was typing in the correct password.)

I've had problems logging in. I have had to log in several times before it finally does it. It won't keep me logged in either like it has been.

I have my home computer set to remember me, and my work laptop set so I have to log in if I want to post. Sometimes my home computer forgets me and I have to re-log in, but have never had a problem logging in.

Actually I had had problems logging in but Jeff said to log in on the main page instead of the discussion group page and that did the trick. However just now I logged in on the discussion group and got in the first try.

I usually stay logged in, but lately, I've been having to log in every time I bring this site up. I turn my computer off at night and turn it back on in the morning. I set it to remember me, but it doesn't.

I've also noticed that some of the forums that I have read, still show x number of new posts.

I hav notice it only asks me to log in when I shut down and re-start my laptop, if I keep it on, I don't have to log back in

Oh, me too. Before when I turned it off, I didn't have to log in all the time when I turned it back on. This site is my homepage. I already was. I don't mind having to log in all the time; I just find it a big pain in the butt! :P

I tried logging in on the main page as Melinda said and it worked. I'm staying logged in. Thanks, Melinda!

You're welcome - but I can't take the credit, Jeff told me to log in that way.

I did this today. Will see if it allows me to log off when I am done. Even after I posted this, I stayed logged on for a day and a half after I logged off. At least I can still view the board. Just can't post if I am still logged on even if I am using the same computer. I'm sure it's just on my end so no biggie.
