Just curious...As Admin, I can see things on the screen that others can not see. Several of you are shown as "hidden users" which means no one can see you on the Forum (but I can). I've looked and can't find any way to see how you did that. Care to share? Do you even know that you did it? :huh:

I did it. I did it through my profile where it says something like "hide presence" or something like that. I'm logged in, but no one can see me. :P

I think Jeff said things did change with the update. Maybe that was one of the things that changed. That would explain why I can't find the option. The thing is though, I saw a new member only 3 hours old that was hidden, and an older member who is never hidden shown that way too. Odd.

I did not do anything to be hidden, and I do not know if I am hidden.
But if there are 4 hidden people, then why is it giving me their name?

4 viewing means there are 4 viewing: anuja, dharsa11, eklein and 1 guest - it
doesn't mean any of them are hidden.

When the changes were made and the photos showed up on the left on posts and were big - that's when I signed on and had to fill out something and I could then elect to be hidden - hidden means that on the left under photo it will show Offline even if you are here and online.

I was typing while you posted - no we can't see the hidden users [that I can tell].

Up at the top it says:
(5 viewing) dhars11, eklein, meredithjane, (2) Guests

I would be one of the 2 guests who are among the 5 who are viewing

Well something else is weird then. This post when I'm reading it says CindyL posted in over an hour ago. I only just got online a few minutes ago so I wasn't even online when it says I was a hidden user.

My opinion - Hidden users means that there are hidden users, those who had clicked the box or whatever it was that said keep showing me offline.

Then next to the words Hidden Users are those who are here that are not hidden, and then the guests which means those that are reading the posts but cannot post themselves because they are guests and have not logged on/signed up.

If your name is showing up that means you are not hidden you have signed in and under your name it say Online.

[Lauren you are right, I think that does make me a hidden user since I clicked the whatever to keep me appearing offline]

At my end it say's there are 11380 of us online right now!!! These numbers are a LOT higher then the numbers that used to be displayed on the old website. Do you think they are accurate? ;)
